Who Said White Girls Don't Wear Hair Extensions?

I am always astounded when my Caucasian clients tell me it's more acceptable for African American women to wear hair extensions. They feel that other women in their culture are not accepting or don't talk openly about haircare, wigs, hair additions or hair extensions.  Some are even ashamed to let anyone know that they have extensions. Hair is hair. I don't care if the person the hair is growing from is white, black, blue, green, purple, brown, yellow, or red. The only thing that concerns me is texture. Is it straight, curly, fine, coarse, wavy or relaxed. The only other info I'm concerned with is if it is color treated, chemically altered or natural.  You can manipulate any head of hair once you identify the hair type and texture. It is not necessary to know the person's nationality or cultural background.

The world of beauty offers women so many options. Why deprive yourself when it come to your hair? If you need it weave it, if you don't have it buy it, wish you had it? then add it. A majority of celebrities wear wigs and hair extensions. Some out of necessity others purely for fashion. Hair extensions are becoming much more mainstream and a part of American culture. Having longer fuller hair can increase your self confidence and self esteem. So if you've always thought about getting hair extensions but perceived them to be fake, strange, weird, or unacceptable for your culture watch the video below. I hope it helps change your perception. Everyone deserves to have the hair they've always wanted. It's not a Black girl thing, it's a Beauty thing.
