Gorgeous Strandz announces the launch of the Enchantop Hair Topper, a
hair extensions product for women with thinning hair. According to the
American Academy of Dermatology approximately 30 million women suffer
from hair loss and 65% of women will have noticeable hair loss by age
60. The Enchantop is a hairpiece designed to provide coverage for women
experiencing hair loss due to female pattern baldness. Once it is
applied it gives the appearance that new hair is growing directly from
the scalp.
The Enchantop is made of 100% Remy human hair. Each strand of hair is
hand ventilated on an extra fine mono-filament base that virtually
disappears into the scalp. It can be cut, colored, curled, flat-ironed
and styled like natural hair. "No slip grip" clips attached at key
points along the base create a secure attachment all day.
"There are several factors that attribute to hair loss which can be a
traumatizing experience for women," says Brenda Waters celebrity hair
stylist and president of Gorgeous Strandz. "I've had clients with tears
in their eyes and completely devastated because of their hair loss. It
affects their self confidence because when they lose their hair they
feel like they've lost their identity. We created this product as an
alternative to wearing wigs."
5 factors that cause hair loss in women:
• Hormonal changes
• Stress
• Autoimmune disorders
• Nutrition and vitamin deficiencies
• Allergic reactions to hair color or other chemicals
"Women should seek the advice of their doctor or dermatologist at the
onset of hair loss," says Waters. Doctors will identify the root cause
of the hair loss and prescribe the necessary re-growth regimen. While
the hair is growing back the Enchantop gives non-damaging realist
coverage for thinning hair in addition to a much needed confidence
boost.
The Enchantop Hair Topper is available in Medium and Large. It comes in
five shades: Off Black, Dark Brown, Medium Brown, Toasted Meadow Blonde
and Warm Wheat Blonde.

Enchantop Hair Extensions Topper
Who can wear Enchantop Hair Extensions Topper? Anyone!
- Individuals with thin hair in the crown
- Individual with bald spots in the crown
- Individuals with female pattern baldness
- Individuals who want more volume
- Individuals who more thickness
- Individuals who want to hide their dark roots or grey hair in between color touch ups
The Enchantop hair extensions topper is an excellent option for short, moderately thin to extremely thinning hair in the crown. This topper is great for clients experiencing hair loss, female pattern baldness, or extremely thinning hair in the top of the head.
This is also a great option for individual who have to have their color touched-up every 3-4 weeks. As a stylist I think this is too often to have color applied to the scalp. Since there is usually not enough natural regrowth in 3-4 weeks having your hair colored this often can cause over processing due to overlapping color on previously colored hair. Thus resulting in dry, damaged, brittle hair that can lead to breakage The Enchantop allow you to conceal your "rooty" look. As soon as you apply it, you look as if you've just had your hair freshly highlighted. The Enchantop allows you to go longer between salon color services.
Wear this amazing hair addition on the days that you don't shampoo your hair. Most women feel like their hair is to oily if they do not shampoo everyday. I am an advocate of the every other day or every 2-3 days shampooing regime. Shampooing the hair too often can create dry and unruly hair. Consequently, it also causes the scalp to become too oily. Read my blog post about how to correct this problem Why is my hair so oily?
The Enchantop is made of 100% human hair and generally last 9-12 months with proper care. It can be curled, flat ironed, or styled like your natural hair and takes less than 3 minutes to apply. Once applied the hair looks as if it is growing from your scalp! Enchantop comes in 2 sizes, medium and large. Enchantop topper is attached with silicon lined no slip clips which allows it to stay securely in place all day long.

How to Apply Custom Clip-in Hair Extensions
This video tutorial will show you how to apply Custom clip in hair extensions on short, fine, thin hair. Custom clip-in hair extensions are completely different from the clip-in extensions that can be purchased from a beauty supply store such as Sally's or Ulta. Custom hair extensions are extensions that are designed for particular individual and usually purchased from a hair extensions specialist. I describe it as creating a custom dress for your body type that only you can wear.
I recommend clients come in for an initial consultation in which we discuss hair type, texture, length and thickness. Afterwards, I perform a hair analysis and take head measurements. These specific measurements taken from different areas of the head is what is used to create the extensions. Lastly, a precise color match is performed to help blend the client's natural hair with the extensions. In some cases the hair extensions have to be highlighted or low lighted to achieve the desired color.
Custom clip-in hair extensions are extremely comfortable, simple and easy to apply. The extensions are made from 100% Indian Remy hair and can be curled, flat ironed or styled just like your own hair. They are also perfect for brides-to-be and special events such as holiday parties or prom. I provide a hands-on tutorial for each client teaching them how to apply the extensions at home. Once most clients get the hang of applying custom clip in hair extensions they can apply them in 5 mins. or less!

Fantasy Avant Guarde Lion Hair Piece at v-103's For Sisters Only
Fantasy hair is one of my hobbies. I am a artist first and then a hairstylist. I just use hair as my medium. Avant-Guarde and fantasy hair is an art form that many people may not understand. For me it's a form of self expression. Fantasy hair is like hair architecture. It's big, over the top and extravagant. Stylist use various geometric shapes made of hair to create a hair style usually worn at fashion or hair shows and these days on the red carpet. You probably have seen avant guarde fantasy hair on celebrities such as Lady Gaga, Nicki Manaj, and Patti Labelle.
I wanted to create a fantasy hair piece that exemplified all the confident, courageous, strong, amazing women in the world. The women who play the role of mom, wife, sister, doctor, life coach, problem solver, entrepreneur, and CEO. These women manage to find the courage to keep moving even when faced with major obstacles in their lives. Especially those women who have overcome diseases like breast cancer. Many of which are clients of mine. These women are such an inspiration to me. I also allow nature to inspire me. What better creature reflects these characteristics other than the King of the Jungle.
My lion "Queen in the Jungle" (named by one of my fans) took approximately 10 hours to create. It actually didn't feel like 10 hours because I get so caught up in my work that I loose track of time. I used synthetic hair, chicken wire, masking tape, and magazines to create this piece.
This Lion fantasy hair piece was a show stopper in Atlanta, GA at the 20th Anniversary of v103's For Sister's Only.

Having received a business degree from Georgia State University, she melded her business acumen and her passion for hair into the perfect career.
